Non-Cumulative Voting - Straight Voting

Non-cumulative voting, also referred to as straight voting, is a voting system in which the voting rights of a member of a homeowner association is limited to one vote for each unit or lot owned by the member. The owner of one unit or lot gets one vote for a single candidate.

Non-cumulative voting should be compared to cumulative voting which is more commonly used by common interest developments in California.
